Do you want to create a short narrative film but don’t have the budget for a grand scale production? With smartphone technology nowadays, you can create a full length film just using your mobile device. Movies and Shorts like Searching for Sugarman, Snow Steam Iron, Detour and Unsane to name a few, you won’t even think that these were done using a Smartphone. This is a beginner course that will help you get started, covering the film process from concept to completion.

This course provides live instructor-led lecture and discussion, student participation through shooting and editing assignments using Zoom, Google Classroom, shooting equipment and editing application.

Prerequisite:
This course is for anyone interested in filmmaking.
Requirements:
- Participants should have access to their own equipment. Any camera or a cell phone with video function will do.
- Editing will be done via computer or even with a cellphone with a free editing app.
- Students must also have the following: Zoom application, Gmail account (for Google Classroom) and stable internet connection.
