Overview

Adobe After Effects is the industry-standard motion graphics, visual effects, and compositing software that can be used to create various moving assets. Whether it’s creating movie titles, intros, transitions, animating a logo, character, creating fire, explosions, snow, you can create any idea you have with After Effect.

This course focuses on advanced tools and techniques that you can implement in After Effects for creating amazing motion graphics and visual effects. Here you will learn how create better keyframe animations, control properties using expressions, speed up your workflow using essential graphics, and bend objects with the puppet tool. Additionally, you will learn core VFX techniques like keying, color matching, tracking, rotoscoping. And finally, you will learn a simple technique to bring simple photos to life.

This 2-day course provides live instructor-led demonstration and discussions, student engagement and  hands on exercises using Zoom, Google Classroom and Adobe After Effects CC 2017 and above (Lower versions of After Effects won’t be able to utilize some of the features that will be covered in this class). When necessary, students will complete exercises after-class to be submitted before the next one.

Students must have the following: Zoom application, Gmail account (for Google Classroom) and Adobe After Effects CC 2017 or above, and a stable internet connection.
