Adobe Photoshop Essentials (Face to Face)
Adobe Photoshop is the industry-standard graphics and photo editing software. This course covers the software’s fundamentals needed to work with and edit graphic images made up of pixels. By the end of the course, participants will have an understanding in running and using Photoshop for creating and editing images.

- Local Tonal & Color Adjustment
- Retouching
- Using Layers
- Transferring Between Images
- Layer Attributes – Opacity, Blending Mode
- Moving, Transforming, Linking Layers
- Creating Color Gradients
- Adding Text
- Merging Layers
- Using the Horizontal Type Tool
- Character & Paragraph Formatting
- Adding Layer Style
- Point Text Mode vs. Paragraph Text Mode
Prerequisite:
Basic computer skills. Attendance of the Digital Imaging & Color Management Fundamentals seminar is recommended but not required.
Requirements:
Windows computer with software needed already installed will be provided for each student.
