Articulate Storyline 360: Beginner’s Workshop
This beginner-friendly course is designed to equip new eLearning developers, instructional designers, and educators with the foundational skills to create interactive and engaging content using Articulate Storyline 360. Through hands-on lessons, participants will learn how to navigate the interface, build slides, apply triggers and layers, and publish their first eLearning course. No prior experience with Storyline is required.
Method: This is a hands-on workshop conducted online via Zoom. Participants are required to have Zoom and Articulate Storyline 360 installed on their computers. Please note: The workshop does not include an Articulate license. However, no worries — you can use the free trial version of Articulate Storyline 360 for the duration of the training.
Module 1: Introduction to Articulate Storyline 360
- Overview of Articulate 360 suite
- Storyline 360 interface and workspace
- Project structure: scenes, slides, and story view
Module 2: Creating Basic Slides
- Adding text, images, and shapes
- Working with slide layouts and templates
- Using content library assets
Module 3: Interactivity and Navigation
- Introduction to triggers and states
- Creating buttons and hotspots
- Slide layers and basic branching
Module 4: Quizzes and Assessments
- Adding question slides (multiple choice, true/false, drag-and-drop)
- Using feedback layers
- Tracking and scoring basics
Module 5: Publishing and Exporting Projects
- Previewing and publishing your course
- Publishing to LMS (SCORM, xAPI, AICC)
- Publishing for web or offline use
Module 6: Practical Activity
- Build a simple interactive module using what you’ve learned
- Peer or instructor review and feedback
